Magnesium alloy forging is indeed an innovative material, but it can not be said to solve all problems. Magnesium alloy forging has many advantages, such as high specific strength, light weight, good corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity, so it has a wide application prospect in aerospace, automobile manufacturing and other fields. However, magnesium alloy forgings still have some challenges and problems that need to be solved. First of all, magnesium alloy has low heat resistance and oxidation resistance, and oxidation reaction is easy to occur in high temperature environment, resulting in a decline in the strength and toughness of the material. Secondly, magnesium alloy forgings are prone to crack and deformation during processing, and corresponding technological measures need to be taken to solve it. In addition, the relatively high cost of magnesium alloy forgings limits its application in mass production. Therefore, although magnesium alloy forgings have many advantages, further research and technological innovation are still needed to overcome the existing problems and make them more suitable for various application fields.
